I CAN RIDE WITHOUT TRAINING WHEELS!!!!! :)

In April/May Jonathan started riding his bike without training wheels!!! We took him up to his school so that he would have more room to ride since our driveway was way to short to try and learn and he couldn't learn on the busy street!!! :) It only took him a few minutes after taking them off to ride on his own. We are SO proud of him! Shortly after he learn to ride his bike we realized his bike was too small so we did get him a bigger one and he still enjoys riding it as much as he can!

As I promised I have decided to sit down tonight and post some very late pictures. They go all the way back to April!!! One day I think we were on our way home to visit and I had the camera in the car so I had to take a picture of this beautiful stuff that fell in the middle of April!!!

Busy Busy Busy

Well, we have been here almost a month now. I have most the house unpacked... am still trying to figure out where to put the last minute stuff so it's taking me awhile to unpack. I have been bad at not posting pictures I know. I will really try to take some time this week to just sit down and post pictures. I have a lot since I haven't really posted any all summer!!! Trent is enjoying his new job and the kids are enjoying being back home and seeing their friends they haven't seen in awhile although they miss their best friends back in Holt!! :)
School is getting closer to starting... I can't believe my son is going to be in Kindergarten!!!! Grace will be going to Pre-school as well! Time really does fly by!!! This weekend will be the first weekend we will be home all weekend since we moved back so I am VERY excited. I hope to accomplish a lot this week so that we can enjoy the weekend.

Moved in

Well, we are all moved in... not unpacked though. We moved on a Friday and Saturday. Went on vacation Sunday to Sunday then I and the kids went to Family Camp from Monday to Sunday... so needless to say my house is still sitting packed full of tubes!! :) It is good to be home though! Once we are all settled in (which will probably be around the time school starts) I will get some pictures up of our fun and enjoyable summer we have had. Hope everyone has a great week!

Moving Day

Well, we think we are going to be moving next weekend. So I probably won't be able to get those pictures on here that I promised. We have so much going on in the next couple of weeks. I am hoping to get them posted before August hits! I hope all of you are having a great and enjoyable summer. Please continue to pray for our family that our house sells soon!!! A lot going on!

Most of you already know that we are going to be moving home. We have set a date for July 15th. For that is when our renter is suppose to be out of our house. We have put our house up of sale here and need your prayers that it sells quickly. If you are wondering why we are moving home it is because Trent took a new job. We are very excited to be close to family again! We are still uncertain the exact date we will actually be moving because we have a lot going on during that time. I have been really bad at posting pictures lately. One reason is I just haven't really felt like it and the other is we have had a lot going on these last couple of months. I am hoping to post pictures here soon but I make no promises. I have alot of pictures to share. From Jonathan's graduation, t-ball, and some other things that I can't remember right now. I hope that everyone is doing well. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we make the transition back home.

Flooring....

Here is a couple of pictures of the new flooring... doesn't it look BEAUTIFUL!!! It's amazing how just the little things and big things can make such a difference!! We only have one more thing to do and our kitchen will be complete. I was able to put all my stuff back on the counter today which was nice. We still have a few more projects outside to do and then we will be done for the summer I think. I keep saying "we" like I am really helping with these projects but I have to say that all the credit so far goes to my husband! I love having a husband that can do things like this and we don't have to hire it out....because that would just be way to expensive!!!! I need to also post pictures of the front of our house. My husband did a wonderful job on that too! But all the pictures are on my other camera....so who knows when I will post those!

A little here and a little there....

We haven't really done anything of real interest these past couple of weeks. It's been nice to stay home and just hang out here. Right now our house in the middle of lots of projects. Trent resided the front of our house and will be repainting it when the weather is nice enough and also put mulch in all of the flowerbeds. Last night he started on the kitchen... he tore down all the lovely z-brick/backsplash in the kitchen! It already is beginning to look better!!! We will be replacing the countertop, backsplash, refacing all the cabinet doors (with the generous help of my wonderful father in law! ), and I think replacing all of the drawers.
There are a lot of little projects that we would like to do as well. I would like to paint our bedroom. I don't think it will happen though until summer comes. I hope all is going good with everyone. I will post pictures soon of all of our projects. Have a great week!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

This past weekend we went to my parents house to celebrate my mom's and brother in laws birthday then Saturday morning I went shopping with Trent's sisters and mom at Birch Run. It was fun but not really any good deals at all. I walked away with one shirt for my husband!!! When we got back to Trent's parents house the kids were ready for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. We have been doing this for quite a few years but I don't remember how long. I think maybe 3 years. I have attached some pictures from the event.

Crazy Grace

I just had to post these wonderful pictures of my daughter. This is a typical day in the life of Grace. My living room quickly becomes a mess everyday because she likes to drag everything out. The first ones is of her in her pj's with a swimsuit on that she just got from our friends and her rain boots. The next pictures are of her reading books on the floor with all her stuff. Grace's Birthday and Party

Grace's Birthday was on St. Patty's Day. She turned 3!!! I can't believe how fast time flies! My BABY is 3!!! On Tuesday we didn't really do a whole lot. Grandma and Grandpa Bedell came and took her out to dinner and shopping for her birthday. Trent was on call so we didn't want to take her out and he get called away. The first pictures are of her on her birthday. She was very excited about her new bike and is doing really good at riding it!

Nothing....

Well, it has been a little while since I have posted anything. Not really a whole lot has been going on. Two weekends ago the we went to Trent's sister and brother in laws house. The kids had fun playing with their cousins and going sledding down their big hill. We also got to teach Jenny and Jeff how to play Settlers of Catan...if you haven't played this game it is the best game!!! We play it as often as we can with friends and family! This past weekend we dropped the kids off at my parents house on Friday night and Trent and I went on a DATE!!!! We were going to go to PF Changs to eat but it was a 2 hour and 15 minutes wait... so we left and went to Max and Erma's. We got right in!!! Then we went shopping for Grace's birthday presents and then went and saw a movie. Saturday my parents brought the kids back and they stayed until Sunday. We had a nice time. Sunday night Jonathan went back to my mom's until today. It was weird just having one kid! Sunday night we had home group and Grace didn't know what to do without her brother! She really missed him...
Last night we took Grace to Chuckie Cheese for something fun for the three of us. She had a lot of fun. Jonathan was upset but Grace told him "Next time I stay at Grandma's house by myself you can go to Chuckie Cheeses!" It seemed to make him happy.... Thanks Grace!!!
Well, that is our exciting life at this moment. My sister and brother in law are suppose to come this weekend. I will be posting pictures in a few weeks from Grace's birthday. My BABY is turning three!!!!! It's amazing how quickly time flies!!!! Have a great week!!!

Jonathan's Valentines Party

On Friday February 13, 2009 Jonathan had his Valentines party at school. They played some games, got to look at their valentines from their classmates, and eat lots of sweets! Grace also got to take part in some of the activities... playing with the toys and eating all the food. Jonathan then got this whole next week off of school. Here are a few pictures from that day.
