Monster Truck Pick-up

Today before naptime I told Jonathan he needed to pick his monster trucks off of his floor. I was helping Grace and he told me he needed to show me something... He did pick his monster trucks up but in a very unique way! I just had to share a picture of what he did....

Stay tune... we will have Florida pictures in a couple of weeks!

Preschool field trip!

Today Jonathan had a field trip. They got to go to the bowling alley! He had a lot of fun and wanted to stay longer. Jonathan and one other kids tied for first place I think! He scored 112!!! He got two spares and one strick!!! Here are a few pictures from the event! One of the pictures is of Grace and her new friend Lena. Then in another picture is of Jonathan and his friend Toby from his class. Toby is Lena's brother, we went over their house for a playdate and the kids had a lot of fun! Hope to do it again sometime soon.

MONSTER TRUCK SHOW!!!!

An added bonus for Jonathan's birthday was going to see the monster truck show! Trent, Jonathan and our brother in law and nephew were suppose to go but our nephew got sick. So our friend Josh and his son Ian (Jonathan's best friend) went with them instead. They had a great time but it was a LONG night. Since the weather was bad they didn't get back to the Flint area until 1:15 am. The kids slept in the car though. Here are a couple of pictures from the show! In one of the first pictures you will see how close they were! They had a GREAT time!! Next year it's actually on Jonathan's birthday....will see????

Jonathan is 5!!!!

Well it's hard to believe that my son is 5!!! I can't believe how fast time flies!!! His birthday was January 16th and we had his party at Grandma and Grandpa Bedell's house on Saturday. He had a lot of fun and get some cool stuff. If any of you know Jonathan he LOVES monster trucks and he got a nice new collection of them at his birthday party! I have attached a couple of pictures from his actual birthday here at home and then some from his party.

Grace... funny story!!!

The other day at lunchtime I was taking something out of the oven. I only had one oven mitt on and Grace said "Mommy you need two or you will burn yourself!" She was very concerned about me! It made me laugh because I never expected something like that to come out of my 2 year olds mouth. But she sure does know me!!!

Saturday after Christmas

Saturday after Christmas we had Trent's family Christmas. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. Here are a few pictures from that Christmas.

We had a wonderful Christmas and hope that all of you did too! I hope you have enjoyed looking.

Christmas Day!

This year was a busy time around Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve mostly in the Flint area. We went to the Bedell Extended Family at Trent's parent's house on Christmas Eve night as you can see from the previous post. That night it took us almost 2 hours to get home because it was warmer that day and then got cold so the road were very slippery. Next year we will have to tell Santa that we might end up at Grandma's and Grandpa's house instead. We then spent Christmas morning at our house. Grandma Orr spent the night to watch the kids open their presents then Uncle Jim and Aunt Heather came for breakfast. After a little bit of free time it was time to get ready to go back to Flint until Sunday. Trent had to come back for work on Friday but then came back to Flint that night. Here are a few pictures from our Christmas at home and then Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Orr's house.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to Trent's parents house for the extended Bedell Family Christmas. The kids had a lot of fun. They got to go fishing which is an annual tradition. Here are a couple of pictures from the event.
