I will be updating you on our vacation through out the week when I have some free time. I should be in bed but I decided to update you a little on our vacation before I went to bed. Saturday (January 31st) we started our day out normal. Drove to Flint to eat lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Bedell since we wouldn't be seeing them for awhile. Did some running around then went out to dinner with my parents... this is where it all began!!! :) Grace began to be a little whinny and wanted to sit on my lap... she was in the starting stages of fighting a cold/cough....dinner came and she didn't want to eat anything. I gave her a piece of cornbread and it was all over from there she got sick all over herself and me of course!!! Then to make matters worse... my parent's washer couldn't be use because they were having some plumbing problems so my dad and I had to go to the laundromat to wash our clothes because I was not about to leave for vacation and leave the gross clothing just sitting around for a week! The next morning (Feb 1) we woke up at 3:40am to head to the airport by 4:30am... wasn't sure how long it would take to get through security... a new experience for us! :) Got on our flight at 7am.... flew to Detroit got off the plane...made it to our next plane...waited for a little while then off to FLORIDA we went!!! Got to Florida early!! Got our car rental!!! Another newer experience for us (they like to get you to add more stuff!!!) Then on our way we were to our condo... the rest I will spare you... nothing of real importance..... Sorry no pictures at this time.... will have to wait for Days 3-8! Ok I lied here are a couple of pictures of them at the airport.
Update: Just so you don't think we are these horrible people. Grace did ok the rest of the week... she did have a fever on Sunday/Monday and wanted to be held a lot by me (Kristen) but besides that she was fine the rest of the trip!:) And pretty much after she got sick she acted fine... we removed ourselves from the restaurant though just to make sure! :)
